![]() ![]() ![]() While the format is still played actively in Europe it has become mostly dead in the US as the game is a decade old. For those who have never played the Jedi Knight series, there is no locking on mechanism, you're completely in control of where you look and move. Here's a video of a high level 3 on 3 match, I hope you enjoy it. Just like in the board game Go where a master could let an average player play 30 extra moves and still beat him consistently, so too did this game format allow for dramatic differences in player skill even when both of them have played for years. People would play this game for years and still improve significantly and this amazed me. There players would continuously try to attack opponents from behind while distracted by one of their teammates and real team coordination mattered. But the real action was in team versus team combat. Two high level players would often have a best of 10 duel to see who was better. ![]() ![]() There you find an average player could consistently face 10 noobies at the same time and win, only to see 10 of him be beaten by a veteran of the format. I'm sure many of you have played Jedi Knight: Jedi Academy but not as many of you ventured into the world of multiplayer no force saber only dueling and team free-for-alls. ![]()
